I painted this scene also before and wasn't satisfied.
it was at dusk and I loved the interplay of colours and shadows
but I couldn't finish it time
So I went back again and painted a little earlier in the day and tried again.
I wiggled around a lot to find the best place to paint.
I had to ask myself the question.
What is it that I am really interested in what am I really looking at.
and it was the light in the water and the interplay of cloud in the water
which really interested me.
